NHRA Unleashead
Anybody seen this?
http://www.nhra.com/multimedia/unleashed.aspx Coming to Gainesville in Nov. I think I am going to try and do it. Tickets are not on sale yet for Gville but I am keeping an eye on it. I believe with a new tq arm some weight reduction and good weather I can get down to 12.0. I am at 12.4x to 12.5x everytime. Maybe need some other susp. mods but I want to try and see how close I can get.

Mine is alot slower than I want it to be. But you do not have to be the fastest just closest to the index and more consistant than anyone else.
My car is always within a tenth every time. Just not hitting the number right now. I know I can get a ton of weight out of it easily with out messing anything up and can put it back just as easily. A new tq arm is a definate mine is bent. I like to compete but have only done one real contest Pony Wars I won the street 16 class, everything else has been T&T.

There is a chance that your car will be on tv also. They are broadcasting these events on fox sports in December, so your car could be on tv! Sweet!
 I'm gonna do what I can to run the 11.00 class, but I need a rollcage and some tuning software plus tires to get there. If not, then I will try to run 12.00. I know you 'slow' guys can at least run a 13.00 which is the slowest class?

I checked again for tickets for this yesterday and didn't find anything. Just bumping this thread to make sure some others are watching for it. If anyone has a line on when/where to get tickets please post up. I'm sure they'll sell out fast.
